Mr. Raven (Director and Corporate Secretary).
Mr. Raven obtained a Bachelor Degree in History (with honours) from The University of British Columbia in 1995 and received a Bachelor of Laws degree from The University of Victoria in 1998. After law school, he clerked at the Supreme Court of British Columbia. Following his clerkship, Mr. Raven was an associate in the Vancouver office of Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP. In 2005, Mr. Raven left Blakes to establish a private legal and business consulting practice, which consists of advising private and public companies in industries as diverse as mining, oil and gas, entertainment and technology with respect to corporate structures, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and private and public financings. Mr. Raven is currently a corporate secretary of Australian Mineral Fields Limited, a private Australian company conducting gold exploration activities in Australia, and a director of Arcview Entertainment Inc., a private company in the business of film production and film distribution.
