Dr. Howard Reino Lahti (Non-Executive Director).
Dr. Lahti brings over 40 years of geological exploration experience to the board of directors of the Company,
having worked in a senior or managing capacity on precious, base metal and diamond exploration projects all over
the world. He obtained a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of New Brunswick in 1968, a M.Sc. in Geology
(Applied Geochemistry) from UNB in 1971, and a Ph.D. in Geology (Applied Geochemistry) in 1977. Over the last
several years, Dr. Lahti has managed mineral exploration projects in Canada, Thailand, Brazil, Peru, Chile, Panama,
and Ecuador, for companies such as Spider Resources Inc., KWG Inc., Lucero Resource Corp., Salazar Resources Inc.
Barringer
GeoSystems Inc., and Phoenix Instruments Inc., also preparing several NI 43-101 reports during that time.
In 2000, Dr. Lahti incorporated Deep Search Exploration Technologies Inc., a geochemical service company based in
Fredericton, New Brunswick, which modified SMX (Surface Microlayer Extraction) technology to adapt it to a "Canadian
soil environment". This new Quantum Dot Extraction (QPX) deep penetrating geochemical method based on nano-size
particles is now being extensively used in New Brunswick.
Dr. Lahti also worked for CIDA in Brasil (1975-1976)
and Thailand (1985-1989), acted a director of exploration for Millennium Gold (Thailand) Limited (1997-1998),
director of ground geochemistry for Barringer GeoSystems Golden Co. (1995-1997), manager of Accurassay Laboratories
Ltd Red Lake (1990-1992) manager for CHEMEX labs facility in Tucson, Arizona (1992-1995), and has held several other
senior level geologist positions with many other international exploration companies over the past 40 plus years.
Dr. Lahti is a member in good standing of the Association of Exploration Geochemists, the Prospectors and Developers
Association of Canada, and the New Brunswick Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists.
